Bryan Florence, viola, is in his third season as a member of the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra where he is actively involved in the Symphony’s education and community chamber music programs. Bryan received his Masters degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music as a student of Jeffrey Irvine. From 1999-2000 he studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London with Paul Silverthorne. He has also studied with Daniel Foster and Michael Tree. Bryan was a recipient of an Orchestral Fellowship at the Aspen Music Festival and School from 2003-2005. He has also participated in the Kniesel Hall Chamber Music School, the Bowdoin International Music Festival, and the Killington Music Festival. This summer he will be a member of the Sun Valley Music Festival in Sun Valley, Idaho. Bryan is a native of Colorado and an avid skier.
